ACCOUNT & BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT MANAGER

For a renowned manufacturer of high-quality building materials, we are looking for an Account & Business Development Manager to help shape commercial growth in Flanders.
In this role, you will combine business development with account management, work closely with architects and contractors, and ensure that our customer is involved early in the project story.

Your challenge as an Account & Business Development Manager

In this strategic, hands-on role, you will be the face of the organization in Flanders, with a focus on East & West Flanders region. You will build bridges between design and execution, between architects and contractors.

Specifically, you will:

  • Identifies and develops new market opportunities

  • Follows up on projects from the design phase

  • Builds lasting relationships with architects, installers, distributors and contractors

  • Thanks to your commercial flair and technical insight, ensure that the organization is involved early in the project process

  • Working closely with your colleagues in Belgium, while your real area of work is primarily the marketplace

Why do we want to get to know you?

Because you:

  • Have 5 to 7 years of experience in B2B sales, preferably in the construction, materials or architecture industry

  • are a strong relationship manager with a fine sense of commercial opportunities

  • Are technically-commercially savvy and can translate complex products into tangible customer value

  • Communicates fluently in Dutch and English (French is a plus)

  • Know the Belgian construction landscape and its stakeholders well
