Your challenge as Account Manager Textiles

As an Account Manager, you will be responsible for managing and expanding the customer base in the Benelux from A-Z. You do this by building relationships with clients, making sure you get to know them inside out and know what direction they are moving in. You actively listen, continuously spot new opportunities (up- and cross-selling) and capitalize on them. In addition, you will maintain contacts with the Top 10 sewing machine and haberdashery stores and web shops on a monthly basis while visiting the smaller stores on an occasional basis.

Our client is a distributor of high-quality products for the textile industry, as well as technical components. This originally Belgian company has many established customers throughout Europe, from small haberdashery stores and web shops to large garment and textile companies.

Why we would like to meet you

You have a higher education degree in textile technology or equivalent through experience. As an account manager, you are familiar with the diversity of a range of needles, yarn, parts and accessories for the textile industry. You are also fluent in Dutch, have a very good level of French and good knowledge of English. Last but not least you are social and listening skills to easily establish contacts at all levels, build relationships and maintain and continue to nurture your network over the long term.
