Your challenges

In the role of Business Developer at Odot, you will drive growth in East Flanders. You will increase customer base by proactively prospecting and converting leads into valuable business relationships. Building and maintaining a network, both on your own initiative and through Odot’s network, is at the heart of your activities. You play a critical role in establishing and maintaining valuable relationships with key stakeholders, including CEOs, CFOs, business executives and facility managers.

In short, as a Business Developer, you are the driving force behind growth and making valuable connections for Odot in your region.

Your core tasks include active prospecting to identify and approach new accounts, developing existing accounts to discover new projects, presenting solutions to clients and prospects after needs analysis, and preparing offers through CRM and the digital platform, as well as negotiating, closing and following up on deals.

Why we want to meet you

You have at least 4-5 years of experience in sales, where bringing in prospects is your specialty. Solution-oriented and consultative selling is 100% your thing due to your strong analytical skills. Furthermore, you are fluent in Dutch, knowledge of English and French is a bonus, and although knowledge of the energy sector is not a requirement, we see it as a distinct advantage.

Finally, you are communicative, independent, pragmatic and goal-oriented!
