Your Role as Operational Branch Manager:

United Rentals has big ambitions for growth, especially in Belgium. With this in mind, they are looking for a hands-on Branch Manager with a passion for operations to take charge of their largest logistics hub in Antwerp for the Power & Tools branch.

As Branch Manager, you will be responsible for the branch office in Antwerp (Noorderlaan), which as the largest branch office plays a crucial role in the rental, delivery and installation of capital equipment to customers in Belgium and Luxembourg. You will ensure that the branch operates safely, efficiently and extremely customer-oriented.

You manage a team of about 30 employees, with 6 team leaders reporting directly to you. These team leaders manage different departments, such as the Technical workshop, Logistics department, Diesel services and Commercial inside services the commercial inside services.

In addition, you are co-responsible for the general organization and follow-up of projects. In close cooperation with the sales department, you set priorities and actions, always taking into account the feasibility and workload of your team.

Who are you and why we want to meet you?

We are looking for an operationally strong manager with the following profile:

• Experience in managing operational teams within a customer-facing environment with rapid response and turnaround times
• Very fluent in Dutch and English, adequate knowledge of spoken French.
• You are positive, dynamic, customer-oriented and problem-solving. You have good organizational skills and work in a planned manner.
• People Manager, who knows how to motivate and guide the team, get the best out of them and support their growth.
• Commercial Feeling, you have an eye for customer needs and can switch gears quickly.µ
• Hands-on Mentality; humble, pragmatic and focused on collaboration.
