About this opportunity

As Service Director Belgium, you will be responsible for the three service departments in Belgium, within two companies that have recently merged as part of an international group. You will analyze current service activities and develop a plan for optimization and automation. You will lead teams, establish guidelines and procedures, monitor operational costs, promote collaboration and improve customer management. Together with management, you will determine and implement strategic policies, using KPIs to measure and adjust performance. You will lead a team of 65-70 employees and report to the Managing Director Belgium. You are crucial to the success and growth of the service department and the company as a whole.

Our client is a large international group with a cluster of companies in Belgium. The company offers technical solutions and services tailored to their customers, mainly corporate (B2B) and institutional customers.

Who are you:

  • Master’s degree or equivalent (academic) thinking level.
  • Experience in managing multiple operational teams and fostering a positive company culture.
  • Minimum 7-10 years work experience within the technical service industry.
  • Experience in optimizing processes, systems and departmental performance.
  • Excellent communication in Dutch and English, very good level of (spoken) French.
